The Conservative Master Plan

Just before Reagan took office in the 80s, a few super wealthy ideologs got together and mapped out a plan to accumulate all of America’s wealth into the hands of a few. There were four priorities.
Their first priority was to gain control of the poor and middle class working families who historically had been democratic. The idea was to find something to compete against their democratic labor oriented loyalties and misdirect their allegiances to new models. The first new model was trickle down wealth where the rich and influential were promoted as the most important part of society because they created jobs.
The second priority was to kill all social programs by killing government discretionary income to a point that social programs would dry up from a lack of funding. Then the rich would have even more money. This was done on two fronts. The first was to build a military industrial complex that would compete in the government for social funds and eventually become so huge that the expenditures were twenty times greater than any other country in the world. The idea was to spend as much money as possible on the military by convincing the American people that we were always on the brink of war, and if that didn’t work, then actually go to war with some little dictator, therefore creating a huge national debt that would end up being the death of all social safety nets. This was accomplished by the cold war hyped by Reagan, and then perfectly by Bush Two with Iraq and Afghanistan.
The third priority was to eventually create a monopolistic news media that would distort the facts and promote the other three priorities. This is where a very influential rightwing tycoon came in.
And the fourth priority was to deregulate Wall Street and big business so that all the wealth coming in from hard working Americans saving for their retirements would be accessible to high rollers and gamblers. No guaranteed retirement. No guarantee that the money would be there for you. And they knew that when the house of cards fell due to excessive speculation, nobody in the top tiers would lose, that they would be bailed out by the Republican administration. Only the “marks” would lose. Again, the working stiffs.
So let’s see how well these wealthy idealogs have done.
What can no political persuasion or party compete with? God. This was the key to success in these wealthy men’s minds. Reagan reached out to the Evangelical right and created in effect a third party that was entirely dedicated to Reagan and conservatism.
It was easy to incorporate right wing ideas into the church as the church merely followed orders, and the ones giving the orders were very wealthy men indeed, very wealthy ministers, businessmen and spokesmen. This was not a poor folk’s movement to begin with, but later snared even the poorest of the poor because they really believed that Christ wanted it that way, that Christ wanted them to be rich and successful, and only the church and Republicans could help them get there. It was a cruel hoax.
The second priority of killing the social programs of government was much easier to orchestrate. Reagan merely had to convince Greenspan to “borrow” the social security funds, with an IOU of course. An IOU that would never be paid as they already knew that by the time that IOU came due, they would have succeeded in destroying the social safety nets of America to the point that any mention of them would be seen as socialistic and anti-American.
Of course, in order for Greenspan to go along with this theft, he had to have a reason, so Reagan simply slashed the tax rates of the wealthy, which he could do with the growing number of conservatives in congress, and effectively killed the budget necessitating the theft of the Social Security fund. Reagan and his wealthy backers knew only too well that when the fund went broke, which they figured would take about 30 years since the fund no longer had a savings account with which to offset the boomers later, then anyone drawing social security would be looked upon as a pariah, a socialistic drag on the economy that kept America from progressing.
And then we have Fox News and The Wall Street Journal, a tycoon’s darlings which have morphed into rightwing platforms in the guise of fair and balanced reporting. Not only here in America, but in places all over the world where wealthy tycoons have bought out large percentages of the news outlets. This is now a worldwide attempt because greed and the thirst for power have no boundaries. To concentrate all the money and power into a very few hands and take everything away from hapless poor and middle class people who really believed that they could get a piece of the pie as long as they went along, can only be understood by very evil minds.
Guns and bibles, the flag, the Muslims, the hate list goes on. This misdirection of the poor and middle class frustrations as they sink lower and lower in their standards of living while the wealthy rejoice in their successes can only be seen as ingenious by the wealthy, and the height of ignorance by the working people.
How absolutely transparent are the attempts of these few men to harness the wealth of the world? How many lives have they cost in trumped up wars. How many lives have they ruined just to accumulate more money and power for themselves?
But we really can’t blame the working stiffs. They haven’t had a spokesman to explain these things to them. All they get is silence from the ones who should be looking out for them.

Too many lives have been lost and ruined already. Sure, we will have problems going forward because China and India will compete with us mercilessly, but other countries, such as Germany, take care of their people with universal free health care and still maintain a good standard of living for everyone. It's a matter of priorities - a sharing of the hardships to come, or killing the poor and middle class for the benefit of the wealthy. Right now, the wealthy have all the cards. Thanks Dave.
Poor tired working class stiffs that support this conservative insanity are truly the actual traitors to a constitutional republic. They have been promised a theocracy and are willing to sacrifice their economic futures to help secure their visions of eternal life. Pretty amazing how you can make people believe that by creating hell on earth will ensure your entrance to the hereafter. Republicans haven't always been Satan incarnate, but from all outward appearances they have certainly evolved into it.
You or anybody else could predict everything that has happened since the nationalistic fervor appeared across America's tv screens during the Reagan revolution, and try as they may nothing has helped slow the steady accumulation of power and wealth by the very rich. This train has no brakes, so short of miraculous intervention you don't have to be Nostradamus to know what lies at the end of the tracks.Yep. the solution will be revolution when it all falls apart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdVODFombco&feature=player_embeddedHow does one know when their country has been taken over by evil people? When you have to go to a foreign broadcasting co. in order to get the truth about what is going on in your country.Good one David! Submit it as a question on SearchWarp. Then give your answer!!
